Delete your SEC app data
The app does not require a named account to read the free feed. It uses a pseudonymous identity for purchases and secure access.
1. Cancel any subscription separately
If you want renewal to stop, first use Google Play subscriptions. Historical website subscribers can contact support. Data deletion and uninstalling do not cancel billing.
2. Remove local data
Remove saved items in the app, or clear the app’s storage in Android settings/uninstall it to remove local preferences and saves. This may also remove your session and require Restore purchases to recover paid access.
3. Request server-held data deletion
Email hennessyken1@gmail.com with the subject “Catalyst Wire SEC data deletion”. Explain whether your request concerns the mobile app, historical website billing or Telegram membership. Supply your app support identity from Settings if available, or the billing email used for historical purchases. Do not send passwords, session credentials or card numbers.
We will verify ownership using limited relevant information, then remove or anonymize applicable app/subscription and support data. For an app identity this removes our server’s session records, push registrations, alert preferences and pending deliveries, any time-limited store-review access grant, and our copy of its subscription status; we keep only anonymous store-notification event IDs so the same billing notification is not processed twice. Required accounting records or information needed for unresolved disputes/security may be retained; we will explain any exception and follow applicable legal time limits. Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe and Telegram may hold separate records governed by their own retention policies. Public SEC filings are public records and cannot be deleted through this service.
Notification data
Turn off alerts in the app Settings to unregister this device. A verified deletion request also removes its push registrations and preferences. Disabling notifications or deleting app data does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it separately through Google Play.
